TRAVEL FEE SCHEDULE
A quote for trip planning will be provided after an initial consultation. The information below is simply a guideline and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Fees paid to I Travel Junkie/The Travel Butterfly Agency (ITJ/TTBA) are non-refundable and are for planning time only. Payment of fees does not guarantee availability or confirmation, and ITJ/TTBA reserves the right to discontinue planning or reassess the fees, if the scope of the work changes.
It should be noted that by enlisting our services, there is an implicit understanding that all components quoted will be booked by ITJ/TTBA. Anything confirmed directly by the client is the sole responsibility of that client; however, we will always try to incorporate those elements into your itinerary.
Planning fees can be paid directly online through the Square invoice sent to your email. Payment of fees indicates that you have read and understand the terms listed on the this page.
Work will begin after trip planning fees has been paid, and once a Client Agreement, and valid credit card.
HOTEL / RESORT BOOKING
Hotel / Resort with known destination and budget – No Charge
Hotel / Resort with research required for more than three options – starting at $25
If services associated with itinerary planning are requested, additional fees may apply.
Air ticketing fees are not included in hotel / resort booking fees.
ITINERARY PLANNING
Customized Itinerary – starting at $75
Itinerary outline and proposal (up to three changes)
Confirmation of all travel services booked by ITJ/TTBA
PDF and digital itinerary available Client Portal
Trip Management
*Itinerary with special circumstances (e.g. last minute, client using points, etc.) – starting at $75
Concierge Service
(Unless included in original itinerary)
$50 per day
Spa appointments and restaurant reservations
Services coordinated through hotel, airline, etc.
Tickets to shows etc.
*ITJ/TTBA assumes each trip will have a some concierge requests that will be incorporated into the itinerary; however, for trips that require research and recommendations of more than three requests and for destinations where requests are more involved (e.g. Japan), concierge fees may be imposed.
**In Lieu of charging daily concierge fees, I’m happy to connect clients directly with the hotel concierge.
Specialty Services, unless included in original itinerary
Rail ticketing – $15 per transaction
Visa + Passport Processing – $50 per person
Luggage Shipping – $50 per transaction
Unique items handled independently from itinerary planning – 10% of service
Air ticketing fees are not included in itinerary planning fees.
GROUP TRAVEL + EVENTS
Customized Group Itinerary – starting at $250 per room

DESTINATION WEDDING
Destination Weddings + Events – starting at $500
(ITJ/TTBA) is not an event planner, but we work with clients to research and secure a destination, and will help with anything travel related (flights, accommodations, transfers, etc). We will gather initial information from the on-site events team, and then introduce them to the clients to work directly on the event itself.
Small group trips with (ITJ/TTBA) – visit I Travel Junkie!
Air ticketing fees are not included in group + events planning fees.
SET DEPARTURE GROUP TOURS + CRUISES
Booking only with tour company (e.g. A&K) or cruise line – No Charge
AIR TICKETING FEES
Ticketing change fee – $50 per ticket
Frequent flyer ticket – $75 per ticket
CANCELLATION + CHANGE POLICY
Fully confirmed itineraries that need to be adjusted or re-booked may result in a change fee similar to the total trip planning and associated services costs initially charged by (ITJ/TTBA).
Fees and penalties from suppliers vary and are separate, which is why I always recommend travel insurance.
